Scenic Designer
This contemporary dance piece tells the story of fashion designer Patrick Kelly's life. The design of the set is inspired by his fashion designs and especially his use of buttons in his designs.

My Assistant Isy Kessler and I designed, created, and pulled all aspects of the set and props for this dance piece. We had a limited budget of $100 and only about a month to design, pull, create, and tech it all. Some notable projects include the creation of the button pillows, the giant buttons, the Patrick Kelly bags, the spray paint reveal, and the tiny button details on various parts of the set. This project was a great experience in problem solving and brainstorming to tell a beautiful story with limited resources.
